I paint a lot of mermaids because I love fantasy, the ocean and women. Mermaids can be playful and soft while still being strong and a force of nature. I view women as being like mermaids and the sea. They have incredible strength, are sensual, give life and thrive when supported. They are my inspiration.

My painting style is characterized by playful vibrant colors with a sense of movement. I love to experiment with different textures. My paintings are created with acrylic paints and a variety of mixed mediums on stretched canvas.
